Duties Of The Notary

 

The duty of the notary public is to provide
notary services to all persons who: 
 
present a proper request
 &
are able to pay the fees 
(not mandatory)

 

Not providing notary services when the request is proper may cause the notary to be liable for all damages resulting from the refusal to notarize the document.
