seal should not be placed over signatures or any printed
matter on the document.

seal impression should be near the notary’s
signature.
3. The seal impression and the notary’s
signature should be near the notary instructions.

The seal impression, the notary’s
signature and the notary instructions should be on
the same page of the document.

The notary must re-stamp the document if the
seal impression is upside down or unreadable

If the seal impression is not complete,
re-stamp the document near the seal

Do not attempt to reseal the document by
re-stamping over the seal.
