PENALTIES
If the county clerk finds that the notary has violated any of the provisions of this code, the county clerk may suspend or remove the notary’s license to perform the marriages.
 
 
The county clerk shall report the findings of any hearing to the Secretary of State for the appropriate action against the notary.
