Certified Copy of Power of Attorney

 

 
The notary may certify a copy of an original power of attorney by:
 
1.Copying the notarized original power of attorney
2.Attaching a loose leaf certificate to the copy of the power of attorney.
 

Attorney in Fact Service

 
1.Attorney in fact signs the principal’s signature to the document, then signs their name as attorney in fact.

Make sure that you identify the document signer as an attorney in fact in your sequential journal.

The notary shall notarize the attorney in fact's signature on the document.  Do not notarize the principal's signature.
